禮拜六 近代文藝小報。

1928年4月7日創刊，周刊，1932年4月30日終刊。原為1923年4月創刊的《工商新聞》的附刊，自言宗旨為 “選擇生動的文字和有趣味的有價值的材料，以期促進工商業的發展為前提，同時又以改造社會”，每逢週六出版，故而得名。

該報最初由《工商新聞》的總編王鈍根自編，後交由田寄痕主持。田邀請當時新聞界稱爲“六老”的天虛我生、小蝶、拜花、常覺、丁悚、塵生為之撰稿，常有短小精悍、清新有趣的小品文見報；加之又有著名畫家張光宇 、田寄痕、吳天翁等位置提供漫畫和照片，有中醫師吳蓮洲 、邵亦群等提供文字和攝影稿，有笑匠徐卓呆爲之提供趣文，銷路甚好。

1933年，該報因田寄痕生病無力經營停刊。抗戰勝利後，曾一度復刊，不久又停刊。

Da cheng lao jiu kan database (da cheng lao jiu kan quan wen shu ju ku 大成老舊刊全文數據庫) holds around 200 issues of a magazine called "Li bai liu" 礼拜六 (English title: "The Saturday" in 1922, "The Chinese Saturday Post" in 1936) which describes itself as a "xiao shuo zhou kan" 小説周刊. The magazine is classified by Da cheng as a "xun kan" 旬刊 and is n o t identical with ECPO's "Li bai liu". However, it appears to be related:

It contained around 60 - 70 pages each issue until at least 1922, then around 20 pages each issue in 1932. Just as ECPO's Li bai liu, it was published in Shanghai, and during roughly the same time frame (1921 - 1949, the magazine gives its year of inauguration as 1922). More interestingly, Da cheng's Li bai liu had the same editors as ECPO's xiao bao, Zhou Shoujuan 周瘦鵑 (編輯者) and (Wang) Dun Gen （王）鈍根 (理事編輯) (cf. Issue no. 0154 (1922-03-25)). Also similar is the layout of the title cartouche on the cover, at least for the issues published in 1932 and later years. And although Da cheng's Li bai liu was apparently published by another publishing house, it has the same address and telephone number as ECPO's xiao bao for the year 1932 (and maybe earlier years, the issues no. 155 until 444 are missing in Da cheng). Da cheng names the publishing house "Shanghai Li bai liu bao guan" 上海禮拜六報館; the magazine itself gives the following names and other details: issue no. 0154 (1922-03-25): 發行者 中華圖書館, 印刷者 中華圖書館, 縂發行所 上海棋盆街中, 中華圖書館，電話一四五五, 分售処 各大書局; issue no. 0451 (1932-05-07): 舘址上海山東路三一一號，電話九二〇〇五; issue no. 0500 (1933-04-22): 禮拜六報館 上海山東路三一一號; issue no. 0591 (1936-05-25): 禮拜六報館 上海山東路一四三號 電話九二〇〇五.

Apart from Da cheng's xun kan Li bai liu, the database holds 10 issues of a 1915 publication called "Li bai liu zhou kan" 禮拜六周刊 which also describes itself as a "xiao shuo zhou kan" 小説周刊. Just as Da cheng's magazine Li bai liu and ECPO's xiao bao Li bai liu, Da cheng's Li bai liu zhou kan was edited by Dun Gen (cf. issue no. 1, 1915, 禮拜六出版贅言 Li bai liu chu ban zhui yan), and has contributions by both Dun Gen 鈍根 and Shou Juan 瘦鵑.
