《農村婦女》 was published in Taihe County, Jiangxi Province (江西省泰和縣)[1], where the Jiangxi Provincial Government was located from 1939-1949[2]. The journal was published and edited by the “Women's Advisory Committee of Jiangxi Province” 江西省婦女指導處[3], which was restructured from the "Women's Lives Improvement Committee of Jiangxi Province” 江西省婦女生活改進會 in 1939[4]. I found some articles suggesting that 雷潔瓊, the sociologist and activist, established or at least engaged in establishing the journal. But I didn’t find any direct evidence of it. However, she was in fact the director of the Women's Lives Improvement Committee of Jiangxi Province and the Women's Advisory Committeeof Jiangxi Province and worked in Taihe County at least from 1940-1941.[5]

The first issue should be published in March, 1940 according to the “Editorial” of issue published in March, 1941[6] (But I didn’t find the first issue). The last published issue is unfortunately unknown. The last issue I found was published in August, 1941[7].

From March 1940 - February 1941: 6 issues[8].
From March 1931 the journal was issued monthly, except for several combined issues of two months[9].
