立報 近代小報。

1935年9月30日創刊，1949年4月30日終刊。是一份兼新舊文人的小型報，被當時新聞界譽爲“大報中的小報，小報中的大報”。其作者群體既有舊派文人張恨水、包天笑，更有新派文人郭沫若、茅盾、老舍、巴金、郁達夫等，形式及内容清新向上，被小報界認爲是小型報的旗幟，在小報發展史上有特殊地位。

該報主編兼經理為薩空了，最初宗旨為“面向民衆，既替民衆説話，又要教育民衆關心國家”。在形式上一改小報的固有格式，兼文藝和時事，在時事方面注重國内、國外新聞和社會動態，在文藝方面，三個副刊“言林”（謝六逸主編）、“花果山”（張恨水、包天笑先後主編）、“小茶館”（薩空了主編）各具特色。因此銷路甚好，到1937年時發行量達到20萬份，遠遠超過“四大金剛”發行的總和。而其首創的“小型報”格式，更被後來《導報》《譯報》等四開報紙奉為楷模。

1937年11月24日，因上海淪陷《立報》停刊，次年4月遷往香港，7月31日停刊。1945年10月1日遷回上海復刊，1949年停刊。

Suspension of publication:
Publishing of Li bao was suspended after November 24, 1937, because of the occupation of Shanghai. By April the following year, the magazine was re-established in Hong Kong with the addition "Xianggang" 香港 to the title.
